While most of our customers receive leads in real time, we know that some lead sources provide their leads in batch files on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Today we’re excited to provide a simple way for customers and lead providers to upload batch files into LeadConduit. Each lead will go through the Flow, just as it would if it was posted in real-time, so the data can be enhanced and the lead filtered out or delivered to the buyer’s system immediately. You’ll find this new feature on the posting docs for each lead source, which also contains a wealth of other useful information.

Checking the File Format

Once you navigate to the posting instructions, you’ll see the Import Leads link, which will let you select a CSV file and kickoff the upload process. To start, LeadConduit will attempt to associate each column in your file with the appropriate field in the Flow. If it can’t determine how things line up, you can quickly map all of the columns to the right fields.

Checking the Data

Before the file is uploaded LeadConduit will verify each of the leads to ensure that each will pass the Acceptance Criteria, which many customers use to set required fields (“email must not be blank”) and required field values (“State must be Texas or California”). If one or more leads don’t meet the Acceptance Criteria, LeadConduit will highlight the issue so you can fix it in the file prior to running the full import.

Wrapping It All Up

Once you’re ready, you’ll be able to import the leads into LeadConduit, which will process each and report back on the results.

That’s all there is to it! Let us know what you think and if you have any questions, please send them our way.
