LeadsCon 2025 Recap

The ActiveProspect team wrapped up an unforgettable experience last week at LeadsCon 2025. As the lead generation industry continues to evolve, LeadsCon delivered exactly what attendees came for—real conversations, practical strategies, and the opportunity to rethink how we approach compliance and conversions in a changing landscape.
From high-energy networking to forward-thinking sessions, this year’s event was all about helping marketers and industry leaders navigate what’s next in lead gen—and ActiveProspect was proud to be right in the middle of it.

A standout moment for us was the session led by our Founder and CEO, Steve Rafferty. In “Winning the Customer Experience: Consent, Compliance and Conversions,” Rafferty delivered a powerful message: compliance and customer experience aren’t separate goals—they’re deeply connected.
Drawing from over two decades of experience in digital marketing and the founding vision behind ActiveProspect, Rafferty explored how brands can transform consent into a competitive advantage. With tools like TrustedForm and LeadConduit, brands can stay compliant and unlock performance gains through cleaner, more actionable lead data.

Another highlight for us was hearing from Matt Fraser, GM of Insurance at ActiveProspect, during his session, “Insurance in Flux: Navigating 2025’s Shifting Landscape.” Fraser took the stage to share insights on how compliance and digital transformation are reshaping the insurance space.
His talk zeroed in on the growing complexity of consumer expectations, the pressures of regulatory oversight, and how insurers can adapt by building smarter, more transparent lead systems. Fraser is going to expand on this discussion further in a webinar on May 14th.

Lastly, our Technical Product Manager Christopher Williams stole the show as a part of the panel “Beyond the Ruling: Why 1-to-1 Still Matters.” Williams took the stage alongside industry veterans to unpack the fallout from the FCC’s recent court ruling. Williams brought a sharp product lens to the discussion, emphasizing why a 1-to-1 consent model still remains the gold standard for ethical outreach and compliance.
Williams’s perspective underscored the need for transparency, collaboration, and smarter tech to meet today’s regulatory demands without compromising performance. Don’t miss Williams on April 30th, as he joins a panel of experts for a product-focused webinar to discuss ActiveProspect’s roadmap for 2025.

As always, LeadsCon delivered more than just sessions. From conversations at the booth to after-hours networking with partners, clients, and peers, we were energized by the collective momentum of a community working hard to do lead generation right.
Whether it was discussing the latest TCPA updates, exploring the role of AI in performance marketing, or swapping ideas on how to scale responsibly, one theme was constant: The future of lead gen belongs to those who prioritize consumer trust, data accuracy, and real-time compliance.

We left LeadsCon 2025 more committed than ever to making consent-based marketing the foundation of every successful lead-generation program. As privacy regulations evolve and expectations rise, we’re here to help marketers navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that come with change.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success—from the organizers and speakers to every attendee who stopped by our booth, joined a session, or shared a story. For those who couldn’t attend or connect with us, fear not.
