While ActiveProspect has attended every LeadsCon since its inception, the latest conference, Connect to Convert 2018, was a unique experience. This was their first event in Boston, and the first where the hotel staff went on strike during the conference. Despite minor inconveniences, including protests outside our windows at 6 AM, the conference was a great experience.

Just days before the event kicked off, we announced the release of our TrustedForm for Facebook Lead Ads feature. Connect to Convert gave us a timely opportunity to share the news that TrustedForm can now be used to document TCPA consent for leads captured through Facebook Lead Ads.

We had the pleasure of hosting an event with our friends at Drips at the historic Bell in Hand, the oldest tavern in America. The event was a great success, with about a hundred guests in attendance. It also served as a 30th birthday celebration for Adam Chickman, our Sales Director of Insurance and Education. Every guest was greeted by a cardboard cutout of Adam (see pic), lovingly referred to as “flat Adam.” We served a traditional boston rum cake while the entire group sang Adam a raucous rendition of happy birthday.

As always, the presentations and speakers at LeadsCon delivered valuable insight. A few that stuck out to us included Home Services Lead Generation: Consumers, Aggregators and Consent Regulations, Oh My! with Marty Collins of Quinstreet, The Future of Healthcare: How the Landscape Will Change How Calls are Generated with Adam Wild of Health Insurance Innovations, and Blocked Calls, Revoked Consent and More: Current Issues in Telecommunications Compliance with Michele Shuster of Mac Murray & Shuster LLP. You can view their presentations here.

All in all, we  count Connect to Convert 2018 as a huge success. We look forward to returning next year, and to catching up with clients and prospects again at LeadsCon Las Vegas 2019.
