This week we are excited to announce the release of the new volume caps in LeadConduit. We’ve taken our popular volume caps feature in LeadConduit Classic and reinvented it in the new LeadConduit. While retaining the original functionality, we created the most advanced volume caps available in the industry today.

What makes them so great? It boils down to 3 things:

1) Ability to cap on any data field or combination of fields

2) Rules-based logic and

3) Granular time periods

Our new caps can support just about anything you can dream up.

Regardless of whether you buy leads, sell leads, or are generating your own leads, caps are an indispensable tool. If you buy leads, caps allow you to set the maximum number of leads you want to receive from your vendors by lead type. If you sell leads, you may want to cap the number of leads you send to a particular lead buyer, per the buyer’s rules. Caps are useful even if you rely on self-generated leads. For example, you can limit the number of leads you send to your call center so you don’t exceed capacity.

Below I’ll dig in on the core functionality of the new volume caps:

Cap on any data field

Now you can set volume caps based on any data field present with your leads. For example, you may want to cap the number of leads from a particular state or ZIP code, or maybe you want to cap the number of leads from a particular website. You can set caps based both on incoming lead data or any appended data. For example, if you use a lead scoring service that appends a score to every lead you receive. You can cap based on different scoring thresholds, limiting the number of leads you deliver to your call center below a certain score.

Rules-based logic

Our powerful rules-based logic allows you to configure caps for even the most complicated scenarios directly in the user interface. For example, you want no more than 100 leads per day. Of those 100 leads, only 20 can be from California. Of the 20 CA leads, no more than 5 can be renters. You can apply this type of complex logic to an entire lead flow, a lead source, or on the delivery step out of LeadConduit.

Granular time periods

Cap the number of leads by minute, hour, day, week, or month. Caps respect the timezone of the LeadConduit account holder. For example, you could say you want no more than 5 leads every 10 minutes.  Or no more than 100 leads every 3 hours.  Or no more than 1000 leads every day.

We have more updates planned for volume caps including budget caps, rate caps, and more.
