Mobile is already reaching its evolutionary limits and the future of digital marketing is multiscreen – at least that’s the way Phunware CEO Alan Knitowski sees it. Knitowski was the featured speaker at the June meeting of 512 Interactive, a bi-monthly meetup group created to promote networking and knowledge sharing among online and performance marketers from a broad range of backgrounds. We were proud to host the event for the second time at the ActiveProspect headquarters.
The gathering of around 50 Austin area marketers heard Knitowski make the case that the intersection of multiscreen, the cloud, and Saas has created a new category called Multiscreen as a Service (MaaS) – aka “The Software of Things” – a space that Phunware has pioneered and aims to dominate. Knitowski described MaaS as the only fully integrated services platform that enables brands to engage, manage, and monetize their anytime anywhere users.
