Recently the Federal Trade Commission announced a settlement with AT&T Mobility for $105 million for something called “mobile cramming.” Mobile cramming refers the practice of billing 3rd party services on a consumer’s phone bill without the consumer’s consent. The FTC has been aggressively pursuing mobile cramming cases recently.
